In my point of view, you should send CSE or CAIPS note...only if you feel like.....oh by the way, how many months, its mentioned in your 2nd AOR by CHC to wait for???

good luck....
Regards
Ritu

Hi Ritu;

I had sent a CSE 2 months back and got a reply that "file is pending review by visa officer".

I was asked to wait for 6 months by NDVO and today it has been exactly six months since RBVO.

hey! i am right behind you at 177 days since RBVO. Any case specific enquiry? caips request? I sent a case specific enquiry two days back, hoping that things would turn positive. One thing is for certain that the VO are choosing applicants rather then processing them by order of receipt.

Mayank applied in Feb and got Visa almost a month back;;;; so it for sure that no q is being followed.

I agree, my friend had also applied with me in first week of February but he got his visa stamp around 20 days back but i got "in process" today only.

No dear frnd,

I didnt get any 2nd AOR or even any update on the status since last 4 months. Just got the PER on 6th May, 2011 and untill then nothing. What will be the next process in ur opinion? "In Process" or "MR." I sent my application to Nova Scotia and then they sent it to London VO.

Regards.

Fazal

Hi Fazal, London VO are very erratic when it comes to processing applications. If they have a pattern, we have not been able to figure it out as yet. Looking at your time lines you seem to be on schedule. Next you should expect your ecase status to show 'In Process' followed by medical requests. All the best!

As it looks like it is a PCC from the country you are currently residing, i will suggest you to get a fresh one to avoid further delay to your processing.

Hi Kolhapuri,

Thanks for sharing the information on PCC. Actually I had requested for the advise as my son had visited US about 3years back and has never been there again. He is currently residing in Canada. He got PCC from India and US but they are now 4 months old. So I wanted to know should he apply again or not as the validity of a PCC is one year. But as per the suggestion of other forum members I have asked my son to get a new PCC again.

What are your views - should he or should he not get a new PCC from FBI especially?

Thanks

Kittu

hi seniors,

i am a silent member of this thread...just today when i checked ecas it says "Decision Made" with additional line on the status "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." Does this mean our passports with maple leaf stamp our on their way to our doorsteps? :) or does this mean anything not good? :(

Manila VO
Timeline:
Medical request June 2011
PPR Aug 2011
PP sent Sept 19,2011

Please let me know what you thinks about this.

Thank you.

dcho
Congratulations dcho !! its party time now :;)

Id like to think we would get MR,Ive done a CRAZY thing, I booked a week away in Jan for which I am going to need my passport,my sis is recovering from a very long illness so i thought it would be nice to have a break away in Jan. Now its stressing me thinking i might not have passport to do such a thing. Obviously the PR is more important, but do you ever have one of those days where you just dont use your brain when you should ::) :'(. Please keep your fingers crossed i might have it all sorted out by then. ???

Hi Kittu,
No worries. My suggestion was to use old PCC's if there is no other choice. If you give a good explanation to the VO then they will accept it. But i will suggest your son to get a fresh PCC if it is possible to get it within the given time and doesnt give you any delay at VO if some erratic Visa Officer decided to give you a hard time.
