FYI

They do put comments on your file even if you are in RBVO. But if other applicants around your date haven't seen any progress then it's likely that your file would not have been touched.

If you have anyone in Canada who can request CAIPS notes for you, then it could be done for as low as $5. And you don't need to send the documents physically as well -- you can just scan/fax the documents to your requester who in turn can e-mail them (after adding his/her relevant info and sign and attaching a proof of being in Canada).

I applied on 29 July and there hasnt been any intimation from them so far... Just want to compare timeline

see if there is a potential postal office lag built in it

yes rod... they requested indian and usa pcc's for me with the MR and RPRF..got the indian one.. waiting for the FBI..

I requested one 6/30/11 and my CC was charged on 8/29/11 by FeDEX so I assume this is when the shipment was sent to my consultant. FBI charged my CC on 8/10/11. I will confirm with my consultant today when he received it (if he has).. I am in the US

Applied 28th June 2011. Still waiting for PCC from FBI. Credit card got charged about three weeks ago. I am in USA. Thought I could send it along with application but realized I was too late. Sent app without PCC.

How much time will the CIC give to send your PCC?

Using Fedex (inside the US) it took 2 months to get FBI Clearance. I sent it on 6/30/11 and received 8/30/11 (yesterday).
