I need to hunt for queencougar's post about results from caipsnotes. I think I must've missed it.

Maybe we don't have applicants that they are currently processing on this forum as its been a while since we've seen any progress on the forum from Buffalo.

My law firm asked for $50 for the notes, or I could get it for a bit cheaper from one of those online agencies and figure out how to interpet the codes etc.

I wouldn't think much about the address dissapearing. And seeing that queen cougar ordered CAIPS and was of little info I don't know how much you can gain at this point in the game. I would probably wait at least 2-3 weeks more after the first applicant from october gets MR

I better get my passports back in few weeks and my Irish Visa is up for renewal soon. The officer who is processing my app is quite good. I had send him/her a few emails and got the response back in few minutes. Considering people not getting any response at all, that is very good.

We are not in a hurry at all, at present we are planning to land sometime early next year, possibly Feb or March. Our preferred landing destination is Winnipeg purely because I have a friend there who is in the same profession as me and her firm is quite good (and big) and hopefully they will be looking for people when i land there. Otherwise my wife prefers Vancouver.

FYI

They do put comments on your file even if you are in RBVO. But if other applicants around your date haven't seen any progress then it's likely that your file would not have been touched.

If you have anyone in Canada who can request CAIPS notes for you, then it could be done for as low as $5. And you don't need to send the documents physically as well -- you can just scan/fax the documents to your requester who in turn can e-mail them (after adding his/her relevant info and sign and attaching a proof of being in Canada).

I have rather stopped posting about my status. Otherwise I have finished my medicals on 29 March; mailed PPs on 12 April (almost 135 days); ran around for fresh PP; resubmitted the same on May 20 (more than 95 days); got information that PP lost ... ......then found ..... ???; again got information that medicals lost ...... .. sent communication with proof of medicals done; later got call about medicals received ...... ??? :.... so what is left NOW ......I changed my cheers from Anil to aNil ..... :'( ..... waiting game ...... :-* :-X ...... All this with address appearing ....disappearing ...again appearing ....disappearing ...again appearing ....disappearing ...again ....... Be positive bro ..... 8) 8)
Just a second thought .............Do we have anything in our hand!! ......

Hey Sorry guys. Couldn't post earlier as I landed late last night and went to sleep immediately.

So here's how it was:

I reached atleast an hour before the interview. I was allowed to enter the premises even though they mentioned in the letter that the canadidates should reach no earlier than 30 minutes.

I presented my letter at the security gate and after security check I was allowed to enter. I gave my letter to the receptionist and she asked me to wait in the hall.

I waited for close to 2 hours before I was called in (1 hour after my scheduled time). I was becoming a little restless as I hate waiting the most and thought about going to the reception and inquiring but controlled myself.

I greeted the lady officer on my way in and she offered me to take a seat.

The first thing she asked -- "Where is your spouse?". The interview letter clearly mentioned that my spouse need not attend the interview so I said so. She confirmed again whether the letter clearly mentioned it and I said yes (I wonder why she asked as she could have checked it on the screen I guess) .

Then she asked me to give her the additional documents that the letter asked for. So I gave her the requested documents one by one (each time explaining what they were). Then she asked me about Marriage Questinnaire and I gave it to her along with the bunch of photos of various outings and additional documents to support my stand (past e-mails, an affidavit etc.). While looking at the pictures that I gave her she took out one picture and asked me about the person we were posing with.

She then started to ask questions about our relationship, how we met, where do we stay and who else stays with us, how is my spouse's relationship with my parents, how is my relationship with my spouses' parents etc (I don't remember everything but it sums up just about everything). She also asked me about my wedding (Just 3 months before the application) and how my parents think about my moving to Canada -- I gave my justification and I think she was convinced by my answer.

She then proceeded to ask some questions about my job. She first asked me to describe the duties and responsibilities that I handle on an ongoing basis. I did and there were few more questions based on the employment letters (including the fresh ones) that I submitted. Then there were some generic questions regarding my job (the structure of my department, work timings, compensation etc.).

In the end, she said that she was satisfied with my responses and that the application will be processed further and that they will contact me if any more information is needed. I asked her about the approximate timeline from here on -- she said that she will put her review/comments in a day or two and then her clerk will check the new information/documents that I submitted and it should be "fairly quick" from here on (She kept all the docs that I gave her and said that they will be returning all the original documents to me).

The whole thing lasted for about 10-12 mins (I was surprised when I came out as others were taking anywhere between 25-30 mins or even more -- I also heard some loud arguements (!!!) while I was seated in the hall.)

After coming out I realized I could have given few more supporting documents (apart from the ones they asked for). I hope this doesn't go against me.

Hey MontrealGirl, Congratulations on your medicals received line in e-case. I know me and entemaria where discussing about it few days back and not sure about the time line. Nice to know yours got the line about medicals. when did you completed your medicals and do you know when it reached Ottawa?.

You should hear from them in the near future, if you want to know the exact bf date I recommend you to visit your local immigration office and ask them when visa officer will look at your file. Most of the time they will let you know your bring forward date.
