To see your status change from RBVO to IN PROCESS...You need to check your Ecas minimum 833 times :P

And even after that if it doesnot change...then plz contact your respective VO. :)

It is a new and great formula for success. Congratulations to the invention. I like it. :) :) :)

I am really confused about London - there doesn't seem to be any consistency to their way of working.

We are Cat 2 and have just received an additional information request from London after being at the VO for 7 months.
It asked for
*updated Police checks - even though we sent them with the original application and my husband as been in Canada for the last year, but they only asked for UK one for him and his last one has only just expired!
* updated IM0008 - which was in the initial application and my husband's job hasn't changed, which they know because he is on a Temporary Work Permit and the renewal is on their system
*a new job letter from his company stating his job is permanent - we already sent this and he has had to present it for his LMO, which was only done in July and is also on their computer system
* copies of his TWP and LMO - already sent with the initial application

An applicant, also Cat 2 who got this letter dated only one day before us wasn't asked for IM0008 at all and their Med requests and RPRF were requested.

Why are London doing this?
It seems there is no way to know what you are going to get asked for as they just seem to make it up as they go along.
There is no reason I can see why we haven't had our med requests in with the other documents like everyone else and why IM0008 for us but not other similar Cat 2?
SO ANNOYED!!!! >:( >:( >:(

Dear Queencougar,

I can totally understand your frustration but looks like there is no choice. I was also requested additional documents twice and am still waiting for my Medical Request. I understand you are Category 2 and the process should be much faster but patience is the name of the game. I wish you good luck and hope you get the Medical Request + RPRF soon. ;) ;)

Hi All,

Tomorrow i will celebrate first anniversary ;D ;D of my application.(CIC received my application on August 23,2010) Everybody from this esteemed thread is invited. By the way i am still waiting for MR :o :o :o.

RaWheAl

I remember you were requested additional documents in April and then you received a package as well from London VO if I am not wrong. I thought you had already received MR....This sure is a long wait and even I am also waiting for the MR. Wish you good luck and hope you get the MR soon. Since you have submitted the documents in April has your address ever disappeared and appeared back in your e-case. Thanks. :)

hmm I am wondering if this is a coincidence....

The day London Visa Office has received my updated IMM008 and Schedule-A documents along with latest police certificates, my address from ECAS has disappeared.

Lets see what follows next.

A member named COSI post the following query on this forum:

"I received a phone call today from the Embassy in Guatemala. They said I need to go to the Canadian Embassy here in Costa Rica to pick up a package. I will go next week, August 23rd.Has anybody have the phone call too ?

Thank you."

As it turns out, the Call from Embassy was to pick up the package of "Medical request".
This is the 1st time that I heard about Meds being picked up from Canadian Embassy.

Any member from this region, please be alerted about this NEW development.
I am just wondering ...what if a "Telephone does not have the "Leave a message" option? :o :o

CIC never ceases to surprise us ??? ???

Having checked through I really think the extra items they are asking for are all reasonable and not out of place. The LMO/TWP in particular since they want to be sure your husband is still employed in Canada (and one could imagine the situation could have changed in the past 11 months, hence I think it's fair enough to check).

However, I must sympathise over the medical requests since I can see NO reason why you could not be doing your medicals at the same time you are gathering these additional documents.

Looks like it's just down to how the individual immigration officer likes to do it - more indicative of the inconsistency at CHC London.

I hope you get MR soon!
