Some good news for buffalo applicants...i didn;t check ecas for couple of weeks and guess what i got medical, RPRF and PCC request in my mailbox. Then checked ecas and it stated in process. So buffalo is moving little bit i guess.

Now the trickiest part is that my wife is pregnant and so she can't undergo X-rays test. But we have X-rays before she pregnant (like 2 months before), so my question is there a way we can use these X-rays for medical exams? Have anybody successfully used old X-rays for medical exams?
Also, we still have to order new PCC from both FBI and embassy which i have already done. Will keep you guys updated.

And buffalo applicants, start organizing your PCCs etc, you may be next....good luck. I hope everybody gets it soon.

Please help !!!
Is it better to re-apply or Appeal against the Decision???
I just received an email saying that you are sort for 3 points....
They are saying you have not submitted the documents to proove the relationship of mine and my aunty in Canada, even if i have provided the family tree ...
The quote from Visa Officer was like that ....
"You were assigned a total of 5 adaptability points for your spouse's Master's degree level educational credential. No points were assigned for a relative in Canada as sufficient documentation was not on file to satisfy me of the relationship with Kalpanaben Priyawadan (Official documentation indicating the name of this individual's Mother and Father was not provided)"
What does that mean exactly???
Please Help guys.....

In the application i have submitted
1. family tree showing my mother's father and my aunt's fathers are same
2. birth certi of both showing the fathers name are same for both
3. bills of my aunt's canadian home
4. bank account statements
This are the copies i have attached when i filed my application...
Please advice me what to do?
my noc was 0631
They said the documents are not enough to prove the relationship of ur mother and your aunt in canada.
Is it better to re-aaply or apeal??
i got this rejection on 30/05/2011 (through an email)......
I have not received the letter yet....
Jignesh,

I just understood that you were rejected at the VO and not CIO. Strange and this again proves VO does a second but very quick eligibility review and see for errors from CIO side. Given that your case went to Decision made as soon as it reached VO(While in RBVO and before going into 'In Process'.

So, after going through your sent documents list, and the officer's quote, I understand either they did not take the birth certificates as official documentation, or the BCs did not clearly mention the full names of the parents.

I suggest you reapply than wasting your time in an appeal, now that architects are on the list again. This time providing as much clear info on the relationship as possible.

NDVO checklist asks for the below documents,

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP IN CANADA AND PROOF OF RESIDENCY (IF APPLICABLE)
•Proof of relationship to your close relative in Canada, such as birth, marriage or adoption certificates.
If your close relative is a…Then submit a photocopy of his or her…permanent resident of Canada•Record of Landing (IMM 1000), •Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292), or•Permanent Resident Card.Canadian citizen•Canadian passport, or•Canadian citizenship card.
•Documents submitted as proof of residency in Canada must be less than six (6) months old. Example of documents:
•income tax assessment (Canada Revenue Agency) for the relative,
•telephone bills,
•credit card invoices,
•employment documents, and/or
•bank statements.

You did submit the second part well. For the first part, did you send them a copy of her PR card/Canadian passport or the documents highlighted above? Those would have served better as official documentation. The officer has highlighted your aunt's details and so they might have wanted to see some of her Canadian official documentation.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Thanks indira for a positive breath...but i am only worried because jignesh got rejection at VO stage....
prayers to God that everything shall be smooth and steady
Please read my reply to Jignesh and I'm unsure if they(NDVO) will ask for more documentation from your side now. What's your ECAS now?

Let's see how to handle this now.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
