I have news!!!

I just received my medical requests! They are dated 18/May/2011 and they've asked for updated IMM008s, Sched 1s, Meds, RPRF and updated PCCs. The PCC however is only from my current country of residence. Ooooooooohhhhhhh boy! Now I'm excited! Have to start the run around tomorrow to get everything sorted out as soon as possible.

All the best everyone! :D

What a great news Wendy! :D :D :D

My heariest congratulations and best wishes for your exciting run around. You deserve the best and hopefully you will soon get it!

Warm wishes, :-*

hey experts,
i have almost collected my documents by now but again stuck with some queries,
i am the applicant but as of last application we had send 2yrs of experience letter for my spouse and now we got only one updated experience letter, so is it ok if i send a cover letter with the inability of sending an updated letter but the copy of previous experience letter(original was send in the last application) with evidence of being hired by the company during that period?

CIC website with buffalo VO says:If you cannot provide a reference from an employer, provide a written
explanation and any documentation (i.e. employment contracts, work
descriptions, performance appraisals describing job duties) that would
support your claim to such employment and provide the information as set
forth above.
For the accompanying spouse or common-law partner:
original and up-to-date letters of reference, including all details as specified
above, in respect of any employment in Canada under a work permit.
• a copy of the work permit.

You may get an email about PER (positive eligibility review) from CIC probably in 25 to 35 days timeframe.

By the way can you help us enter your details in the spreadsheet. Kindly see the columns & provide all the necessary information !!!

Good Luck !!! :)

Hi seniors,
I have sent my application to NS, and they received it last week. Now, what will be the next procedure. How will I know about status of my application. I have enclosed a DD. How long will it take for them to take a decision. Please, say.

Regards
Priya

Thanks Mchowdhury, Anil (with your singing, I seriously doubt your kids could call you a hot plate! ;D), Wayne (I hope to have everything sent in and maybe have the ecase status change to Meds rcvd before the changes. Am I being too optimistic?), Moori, S_Saab, Amro, Table, Ira.S (Don't worry, none of the admins will be removed, you guys are what makes this forum such a great place! ;D), Smiler11, Majorhell, Katy (I'm eagerly waiting to hear good news from you soon), Adroit, Montycan and Moabbassi.

Successful applicants help needed for reapplication.
Congrats to all those who have been getting good news and heading ahead.
Need help desperately to reapply. Last time as i applied i had notarized all the copy of the documents i had just to be in safe side,
Is it really necessary to get it notarized? please successful applicant share ur views if it necessary or its ok if i send only copies besides the original that are mentioned by CiC?

Congrats Venky.

Regards,
Mayank

String11, it is best to notarize all documents which are copies. If there is anything you are not submitting the originals for, then a notarized copy is required. This is to keep you on the safe side and avoid any problems in the future.

Thanks for the good wishes Shalom, Hasib and toothfairy. :D
