In response to the earlier statement, yeah, it's better Indira if you stay with the SHO if you know someone there.

Station House Officer.. He/She is usually the Inspector of Police for your local station.

Just a bit of caution, I deal with station house guys every weekend (I run a bar so you see the connection).

These guys are not very high up on the food chain, have you researched whether it's ok to get it from these guys?

Hi Indira

Its alright to have certificate applied through SHO but it has to be duly signed by SSP, So take

care that issuing authority is SSP only.

The link says we can get it from SHO also. But there is a possibility that the SHO will try and send us to the SP office for this.. Let's see..

The envelope contains the following:

- Me and my husband's passport of course with the visa..I'm hugging and kissing it..hehe
- COPR
- Letter from CEM, 5 pages, included is PDOS info.
- All my documents that were submitted (all of my docs. except the aplication forms)
- Receipt of payments

DHL called me this morning and I went to their office to pick it up, here in my home town ofcourse, I paid them the corresponding fee

Ok i got it, as i am resident of Punjab so i was thinking of that only. In Punjab issuing authority is SSP.

Sorry you can get it issued from others mentioned officers.
