The Canadian embassy in cairo has just called me to ask me for passport to stamp the permanent residence visa

I just can not believe it is almost done or literally done

Somebody wakes me up from my deepest dream for now

I just asked them if I can renew my passport before sending it and they confirmed it is fine and that to do it immediately so as to allow them to close my file as soon as possible. Cheeers ;D

I got this from the French CIC website. I believe the only complications due to pregnancy is the chest xray. Once that is done, you can land.

Is a pregnant woman obliged to have any X-rays done.or can she be exempted?
A chest x-ray is an obligatory part of the medical results. Pregnant women may submit a chest x-ray taken within the 6 months preceding the start of the pregnancy so long as the applicant's identity and the date of the x-ray are printed on the image itself. If such x-ray is not available, there are two options: you may decide to have the x-ray done with a protective apron or wait until after the child is born. If you chose the second option, please let us know, mentioning the expected due date. Do not forget to inform us of the birth of the baby by sending us a copy of the birth certificate

I am very grateful for this news. The DMP said the same thing about protective cover for her. This is my main concern about waiting after delivery: I am from Nigeria but living in the UK. To obtain a new passport from Nigerian immigration could take more than 3 months now. My friend applied last month and the embassy gave him interview date in september (6 months). That means if my baby is delivered in june, his passport may be ready from 6 months. Such a waiting is unbearable. Remember that I cannot applied for the baby unless his passport is issued and he cannot even go for medical. We are talking about close to another one year.
I have written to CHC London. I am waiting for their response on the issue.
