Nothing for us yet. Although we included PCC's with our initial application which expire on 17th July 2011. So unless they don't think they can finalise our application by then, then we are not expecting to be requested to provide new ones.

So from that point of view I guess no news = good news, since it means there isn't anything else they need. But the silence is frustrating!

Trying to have the patience not to send a query though.

Wayne.

The cost and delay must be frustrating for anyone called in for an interview, but it at LEAST means that you are not yet rejected. Visa office would not call anyone in for an interview to whom they had no intention of awarding a visa. I imagine that as well as ironing out any fraudulent marriage suspicions there are a number of random spotchecks done - so if anyone IS called in for an interview it does not necessarily mean that there is any problem.

Lol yeah. But thing is if your application is bit complicated/Different, they are going to call you. I recently went for B1 Visa interview and saw Canadian embassy on the way to US embassy. Never thought i will be going there with in month again. :) Oh and that B1 interview was successful so i am very optimistic and looking forward to Canadian one.

Just Curious...

Does the Interview request come before the Medicals Request or after it? ???

DarKnight
In my case its before medical. Don't know what happen in other cases. I have read somewhere that in Spouse cases they call for interview after meds. What other members think about this?

It can happen even after medicals, see this thread:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/prepare-an-interview-t3109.195.html

Two members Crazzy & barundutta76 had interviews after medicals. Both got rejected.
