i had enquired on 28th of february and got reply on 10th of march stating this way---- Good Afternoon

D.A. Nothing besides this though a month has passed after my 1st enquiry....so just waiting...

Has anyone made specific case inquiry with CIO lately? How long does it take these days to get response back to online query?

So far i went thro cic website CIO replying timeline of their online enquiry is 20days.
and since u have enquired on 13th feb they must have send the reply, checkout ur junk mail.

They perhaps are too busy answering phone calls from other FSW applicants who have phoned many times? Times your "many times" by how many FSW applicants there are at Buffalo, then go figure why they are too busy to answer

Wayne, Just eyeballing the spreadsheet, it doesn't appear that there are more post 26 june applicants at Buffalo than Delhi or Manila. Moreover, the applicants have applied for in-demand occupations, so they should be processed more or less equally at all the Visa offices. If the buffalo applicants get their cases done in sept to december (which appears to be the projected timeline), these occupations may not remain in demand unless CIC has come up with the occupation list based on some kind of projections.
I am also not sure why the process of shifting from CAIPS to GCMS is taking that long only at buffalo but not any other VO (may be except london and Damascus). Also, CIC should have made a point to shift to this new GCMS system at the same time. There is no doubt that indians are good with softwares , so may be Delhi was the first one to adopt it. I also think the good work culture is moving from West to east now and the people are getting more efficient in east. That is what i am noticing in US, though not sure about it in Canada....lol

I just received an e-mail from my consultant in Canada with a copy of my 2nd AOR from Paris VO - it quote the E000... and just states general infomation regarding the process and that they will contact me in due course.
