@ Kathe - The Bank Statements would not be a problem. Getting the Valuation for my house will take a bit longer though.

@ Wayne - That would make sense if they asked for all PCs to be resubmitted. However they only asked for the ones from UK. Anyway no point speculating, and causing more hair to grey. Will be checking with them tomorrow.

@ Sgcandle - Thanks for the well wishes.

Cheers.

Our PCC expires on 17th July 2011, so at this rate it is going to be very touch and go to get the thing finalised by then. Usually it is minimum 2 to 3 months from med requests to get PPR from London - so even if we get med requests within the next few weeks the earliest we could get PPR would be June. So to get visa decision by July is being pretty optimistic now!

It's not a massive biggy to get the PCC again - it took about 1 week last time to get them, although the extra £70 cost is annoying. At the time we submitted our application they were required on the London checklist so we have no choice.

Just have to wait and see. If we don't get med requests by mid April IMO there is no chance we can get the visa before the current PCC expires and we'll probably be asked to provide another one.

Yes for applicants outside the UK it will of course be more costly and time-consuming. Really when CIO asked for the PCCs in the first instance they should have been confident that they could finalise within 12 months.

That was kind of a joke anyway to be honest - CIO changed their minds twice!

Initially you HAD to include your PCC with your application. Then at various points during August visa offices starting saying on their checklist not to include it and wait for the visa office to ask for it (London did this about 7 days after we sent our application!)

Then again in November they once again changed their minds and made it optional, but stated they strongly advised to include the PCC.

True I already spend more than $1200 for getting my p.c.c i lived in different countries and some countries requires finger print and for digital finger print in need to pay 100$ and i did it for 3 us states and 1 federal plus postal charges and I also had to travel to Indian embassy and had to return back because they needed my original immigration document(which was not mentioned in their letter). I send my initial application in June 2011 and got my paper back because of the credit card transaction was denied by an error from my BANK (BMO). I reapplied with the same P.C.C which i got in May 2011 and now my application is with ND Visa office. of they ask for the P.C.C again ..its another $500 Plus for me...

Congratulation! It is great news for singapore applicants!

May I ask for the UK PCC issue? Did VO request your fresh PCC because you ever travelled to UK after your application submission?

I was in UK between 2004 to 2005 and I got my PCC from UK in 2010, I never went back to UK then, so I am wondering if a fresh UK PCC is requried for me. Thanks.

Hi Hope2011,

Yes a fresh PCC from UK would be required. It does not matter whether you have been to Uk after your first PCC or not.

Hope this would help.

Thanks

Kittu

Hello Indira,
WOuld you be able to tell when can i expect my MR, i received my 2nd AOR dated March 10th..on March 18th.. as per the tracker it should be with me by now...
any idea..
COngrats to all PER AOR and MR Receivers,,
aSHOK...

Hello Ashok,

It was far easier to predict the PER times than the AOR and MR thing :o :o. It can take anywhere from a couple of days to more than a month as we have seen.

One thing i can say is you will definitely receive it around the same timelines as it took for your AOR to reach you(from the date of dispatch to received). But in my case, there are no signs of receiving any mail at all, although the ECAS says In Process :o :-[ ???. This adds up to my anxiety, if i cannot receive a post that was supposed to be sent out long ago, how will i receive the second one in time?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Hi - I am sorry to hear of your NER.

Generally there are 2 reasons for being rejected due to NOC duties
1) The duties you filled in on the forms, and including your CV, do not match
2) The work experience provided does not provide sufficient evidence of the duties you have claimed

IMO more often it is 2) than 1). Your CV, since it has been written by you, is not evidence that you have the required work experience.

You will get your application back but it is likely to take at least a month, even to up 3 or 4 months.

If you feel CIO are in error, and that you did provide sufficient evidence that your duties matched the lead statement and a substantial amount (at least 50%) of the duties listed for the NOC - then send a fax to CIO stating exactly how your duties match, and, more importantly, which part of the work experience evidence supports this.

You may wish to read this article by CanadaJimmy on my blog which describes how to fax them if you feel you received an unfair NER.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

thanks soo much capuccino for your support and fast answer;

the job task paper given by the company is matching more than 70% with that ones required by CIO but i didnt sent because i received late and i scare ??? if they will compare my CV with the paper which i will send and they will ask why i didnt put this tasks on my CV , so they will think im sending only because i received the NER .

thanks soo much
please advise

If the letter is dated after you submitted the application it should not be a problem. Even if it was before you can state that you where waiting for your supervisor's signature and you where thinking to submit later to VO. Either was include an explanation on the cover letter.
