PER received: January 7, 2011
AOR dated: February 17, 2011; received March 2, 2011

No medical request yet, which is a little strange

Please add me to the ND and International tracker

Oh yes, and country of origin and residence: India

Welcome I added you to the tracker. Can you please confirm:
- Whether you paid by CC or BD
- Your payment date
- The date your ECAS status was last updated
- Whether or not you included PCC with your original application

PCC: Yes, sent to CIO [however, it was only a "copy" as the procedure at that time asked for only "copies" of Visa Office Specific Checklist]

Today I sent a specific Enquiry to Cairo Visa office with update for my employment and my family travel history, I didn't have 2nd AOR , nor my status show Received by VO yet so any opinions???

Nectar is an idiot. Oh wait, sorry we already knew that.

But the OTHER breaking news is that our address is now showing again on ECAS! The rest of it is the same "In Process/We started processing on 15 March" etc.

I wonder, is this an indication that the transfer from CAIPS to GCMS is now complete? (Since this was supposed to be the reason the address disappeared in the first place).

This is what I found in Buffalo website. So it means they are officially slow now.............

"IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are installing a new computer system. As a result, applications submitted in March 2011 may take longer than usual to process. Our average processing times have been adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your understanding."

So this fast track doesn't apply to Buffalo.

as the name stands "Buffalo".. remember its not "BULL".. jokes apart.. from the positive frame, it could be that the new system has much better efficiency.

Hi, firstly thanks I have updated your details. Secondly it has been less than a month since CIO sent your PER, so the file probably hasn't reached your visa office yet, or it has only just reached there if it has.

I'd expect your status to say "Received by visa office" within the next few weeks.
