My application reached CIO on 24th jan and my dd is still not encashed. What could be the worst case scenerio.

Step 1. Are you absolutely SURE that your DD has not been encashed? Sometimes it appears to take banks a VERY long time to determine this, or they refuse to check it out. You have to be assertive. Step 2. Have you sent an email enquiry to CIO including your Courier tracking number and date, name, birthdate, NOC? Step 3. Have you tried NOT to think of the undesireable options: CIO received application and lost it (happened to ours); Courier failed to deliver application; or, application was incomplete/didn't meet MI and is being returned - unlikely at this late stage as you would probably have had a NER email by 2 months.
I hope it is still waiting on someone's desk at CIO and all will go smoothly in a few weeks. Good Luck.

I am asking because on the original letter they have mentioned "PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS." in bold.

Also, what did you send as a proof that you are done with your medicals?

yes i send the original letter because they have asked for it....and for proof of medicals, i had sent the original bills that we received at the DMP's clinic....
