Hello,
So i've lived with my boyfriend ( who is a canadian citizen ) for 9 months then moved out because of certain circumstances for 2 months then we might move back in together . Can I apply under him for PR or does that mean that we would have to wait another 12 months like starting from zero ?
Thanks

You need to complete a continuous 12 months cohabiting before you can apply as Common-Law.

Yes. Until you have lived together for 12 months continuously, you cannot apply as Common-Law.

Technically we did live together for 12 months , I just don't really have proof of the first 3 months cause it wasn't a lease . It was just like moving in with ome of his friends. and do you have to file for common law or something like that ?

Unless you want to get married. Common-law is the only other option. You will be required to prove a continuous 1 year cohabitation.
