Application Withdrawal from CHC Islamabad

Hi all,

I sent a request (sent a letter through courier) to withdraw my application. Its been 2 weeks and I got no reply. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes? I need to re-apply with university admission this time, instead of college. Please let me know if anyone knows. Thanks

One other person applied for withdrawal though email and he received his documents after one week, so wait u will receive them soon...
 
There was one member on the forum,he E-mailed them and faxed them the letter for withdrawal ,he got his application back in 6-7 working days!
 
Stil haven't heard anything back. It's taking longer probably because of eid holidays and probably because they must be busy with student visa applications for September students. Hoping and waiting!

Something very interesting happened. On Aug 29, they sent me the medical request and asked for an updated LOA. I sent them an email through ECAS telling them to disregard my withdrawal request and continue processing my application. A week later, I got an email from them asking me to confirm if I wish to withdraw. I responded back and said I DO NOT wish to withdraw my application, and have completed the medical exam. Right now, I'm done with the medical. I also got the updated LOA from the college. Tomorrow I'm sending my passport back along with the updated LOA from the college for the January session. I will also send a signed letter explaining why I initially asked for a withdrawal (due to timelines, I requested withdrawal in August and classes were going to start in September). Am I missing something here? Do I have a good chance of getting the visa and when should I expect the visa?

You have done it right, and its amazing............
 
Once they receive your medicals, then your file will be completed and forwarded in front of a visa officer for a final review/decision. So hope for the best.

I have completed the medical and sent the updated LOA for Jan session. When should I expect to hear back from them, considering that my classes will start in January 2013. How much earlier do they issue visas? Should I expect something by Mid November, or could it be earlier or later?

This whole process is too stressful! I've also applied for a Masters program in a university. That's my back up, haha.

Billad bhai I think 60 numbEr wala shariq Ahmed got refusal , I read somewhere , Plz reconfirm and update the sheet
