Enquiry:
Subject : Application that has taken longer than the normal processing times.
Dear Sir, Madame I'm writing this message inquiring about the update in my sponsorship file. The application for permanent residence was send on October 24th, 2017. The processing of the application started on August 15, 2018 and the last correspondence was on : September 6th, 2018 , We passed the eligibility requirements . As I see from online application the file is blocked on background & security check no updates since then, I do need to travel for emergency situation and need to know the frame time of the processing and when it can be finalized. Any information needed or documents to accelerate the process I will be more than happy to share it . As you know the waiting time is overwhelming for everyone and putting our life on hold. I do appreciate your collaboration in advance . Thanks in Advance

Order your GCMS notes if you want to see what's going on and creating a delay. It's not unusual for background / security checks to take longer than normal.

How do I order GCMS notes, I google it but I couldn’t find enough info .
One of the immigration agent, I asked him why it’s taking to long , he is like I can’t tell information more what you can see online .
And if you are criminal I can’t tell you that .
What rude and unprofessional answer, I was never expecteing someone to reply to me like that .

Yes I’m Muslim, yes I’m Arabic but not criminal.

I stop calling and wasting my time & I switch to online service but as you see it’s automatic replies just with different names of immigrations agents .

I appreciate your time guys
 
Well, we kind of in the same boat although your application is older than mine. No one can tell me why my application is taking so long.

The last thing I have been told by my MP is that some visa office closed and other offices are picking up the caseloads which in turn overloads them.

I have received mine and it doesn’t explain why our file is taking more than 12 months.

Yes it does, they usually send it the very last day. It has to be sent by someone in Canada.

Where are your from and which visa office is processing your application?
