Hi,

I submitted my spousal sponsorship application in Mississauga office and they received it on July 18th. My question is how long will it take until they get back to me? Does anybody have any idea? Are they going to send me an e-mail or send me a letter?

I tried to link the application online but nothing showed up so I guess they have not even put it in the system as yet.

Thanks'

It often takes around six weeks before you hear anything.

Hi, I sent my in-land spousal sponsorship via courier and should've been received by the Mississauga office last October 23. I still haven't heard back. Am I supposed to hear back from them saying they received it, or should I also wait the six weeks? And if yes i need to wait for the six weeks, will they get in touch by mail, email, or phone? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help ease my anxiety.

Didn't you receive a delivery confirmation from your courier, someone would need to have signed for it? That will tell you it was successfully delivered.

The first you will actually hear anything about your application processing is likely to be 4-6 weeks.

Will have to check with the courier to find out who received it, if they received it at all. So I guess I'll just wait between 4-6 weeks then. Should I be expecting an email back from them? Is that the next step so I can "link" the account online or something? I'd like to be able to see the "status" of my application as it is also needed for application of a health card for my spouse here in BC. Would you know?

You should have been given a tracking number when you sent it that would allow you to see when it was delivered and who signed for it. Which courier did you use?

Purolator. I'll give them a call to see if it was delivered successfully.

I also used Purolator. You should have received a receipt with tracking number that allows you to go on and see the delivery details.

Just confirmed, Purolator delivered 10/23, w/ no specific name of who received it though.

Inland applications are actually taking about 8 weeks for AOR right now, so you shouldn't worry or expect to hear anything until around the last week of December.
