Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has information or had same status as below and what does it mean

Medical - If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you
BG - In Progress (IP1)

Is it normal to move to IP1 but no MEP status updated yet? Also there is a msg Your Action required status but nothing showing and no email.

i guess a lot of people have seen this. Wait for a day and check your profile agian.if not, call CIC and get clarification.

Are you an Inland applicant??? Most outland people need to complete medicals before hand and their status will always be you do not need a medical exam, a message will be sent to you if the status changes. if passed, it would change to your medicals have passed.

I am a FSW-Oultand applicant and has done my medicals upfront. Also uploaded the upfront medical confirmations with UMI numbers. I heard it is a possible technical glitch and is currently happening to most of the applicants.

CIC is down currently for maintenance and hopefully it will be fixed.
