Application status Unknown - 5 months

Hello All,
It's been 5 months since I have applied and have not received any information. My DD not charged nor my application is returned. I have sent email at "CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca". It's been 1 month I sent an email but have not received any information.

1) How can I get an update on my application ?? Is there any probability of a positive response from CIC ? I have added my entry in the worksheet but it's hard to understand from it.

2)Will all applications be rejected once Express entry start ??

Below are the details of my application
Full name :- Mihirkumar Govindbhai Patel
DOB - 27th March, 1983
Application date :- 11th July, 2014
Received date :- 17th July, 2014
NOC :- 2174

I'm in the same boat as you Mihirp83.

Application received 30 July for NOC1111, no CC charge, no returned application, no reply to my email, I've even tried phoning but they say they do not have any information about my application.

The only reasonable and logical explanation I can think of in my circumstance is that I forgot to include a notarised copy of my degree certificate in my original application. I then sent this with a covering letter which was received 8 October. I am therefore presuming (rightly or wrongly, I do not know) that my application has been put back with the applications received 8 October as this is when CIC received my fully completed application.

Keep your chin up, they do say that no news is good news!

Expect positive response since you have not received any returned document. You would have passed through completeness check by now.

@DeeBruv:- Thanks for the words. Refreshed my hopes to stay positive but unless and until I don't receive any response It's difficult thinking about anything happening good....

@Trallis:- Well that's the reason of concern as we are left clueless... Let's see how it goes....

What if even till 31st Dec, we don't receive any response ?? Will all application will be returned or what ???
