Application Status paper version

Hi. I sent in my post-graduation work permit application 9 weeks ago by paper application. I have not heard anything back yet and would like to check the status of my application.
The issue I am running into is to find the "Application Number" to enter at the "Check your application" on the CIC website.

What can I do to ensure the application is going through as quickly as possible?

Hi Tommy503,

Paper application will take longer time as compare to online application.
From my point of view, you should link your paper application to my CIC account online so you will get real time update regarding your application.
