Give them couple of days more. You will get file number for your application.

Mine is approved now. They asked for my passport.

It took around a week for my application number and biometrics request, usually it just takes 30 minutes and even after i submitted my biometrics they didn't update my application after 15 days now..usually they update that in 1 business day.
I don't know why are they taking so much time now.
I found this on CICs website

" Online applications: After we receive your application, it may take up to 5 days for you to see it in your account. We are working to make this wait time shorter. If your application does not appear after 5 days, contact us and report a technical problem. This issue will not delay processing of your application"

No, they haven't even updated my application for biometrics completed or medical passed ( i did upfront medicals).

hello everyone, I need genuine suggestions. I applied for my work permit extension 2 months ago. I got a temporary extension within 2 days of applying. But my application is still in reviewed and it's 2 months over. Shall I contact IRCC or shall I wait? Please give me a suggestion.

No point in calling. Processing is 3-4 (119 days).
