Yes you can use it. But try to go for Letter from Standard Chartered Bank or HBFC coz they follow international standards and they have good image as compared to local banks. Chances are fairly high. Even I applied on Loan Letter from Stanchart and got my Medical call within 20 days. Now i'm waiting for Visa.

thanks...can you tell me the procedure of getting loan and how much it costs to take it...i want to know everything about it

I noticed CHC ISLAMABAD is unloading old pals and giving visas to old applicants uptill now no visa is issued to new students :/ I hope we all gets visa soon i assume upcoming monday will be full of news

m so worried i got a forum from hec online site for authorized person nd i got a token no 49 and date 11 december but now i want to go islamabad for self submission so kindly kindly tell me please can i got another form when i will reached b there isd nd shall i get a token kiya muja token mil jayie ga jab ma islamabad jao ga m so worried ma monday ki ticket b confirm karwa chuka hoin please tell me

come to hec... they have pc's where u can fill those forms.. and get new token...

Bro basically its an Overdraft Facility that you can avail for 3 months minimum. You get Loan in a Current account against Fixed Deposit. The Bank Issues a letter stating that "XYZ" has been granted a running finance faciltiy of so and so amount against fixed deposit of so and so amount. and this amount has been sanctioned for study purpose etc etc. Just visit a branch near you and meet the relationship manager. He'll guide you more appropriately.

My name is Ahmad.I will be applying for the fall 2013. I have got admission in University of Alberta. My question is "can we take loan to show proof of funds?" because i was reading some threads in this forum and came to my understanding that that loan is not usual practice for Pakistani students as compared to Indians.
Help will be appreciated
