I have given several job interviews as well. DEscon, azko nobel and unilever are among toughest companies where I made through to the last round. (done all my interviews and grou0p discussions). so I think I have a lil experience of interviews .
visit visa is something else.... still just tell me have you got ur visit visa? have u satisfied the VO? if yes I would say its ur luck.

Yes I did. In one week from date of interview. Can you get Canada visit visa in a week? No never, that is why i say CHC process sucks.

I know someone in India who applied for study permit for Canada and was called in for interview because of some issue with his current employment. The interview cleared up his prob and he got visa a week later. I can bet anything if he was an applicant from Pakistan they would have just rejected and said "You have failed to convince me that you will leave Canada upon completion of you studies" and give something silly reason along with "Current employment status".. that is why i say its unfair that they don't even interview those whose applications are 50-50

In my case we all four were studying at the moment, when I applied for US embassy. I had no answer to this question. secondly u guys have your opinion I am having my opinion I still think interview give rise to alot of questions in the VO minds. in drop box u only need to concentrate on documents. if you got ur dox right u got it.

I think in student cases interviews are rare , mostly they call for interview in immigration cases......

Well i think the girl who took my interview here for States Visa was pretty nice....i believe i gave most pathetic answers ever... but i was issued with 7 years visa...

I believe there are number of factors that make you successful . Like permanent job. Working in your own field, your stability in your current residing country and so on.

They show you respect if they get the answers exactly what they are looking for.

I am done with my medical at karachi today, I am waiting for the letter from HEC, after that I'll return my passport to CHC
