hello freinds i m new in this forum i m living in canada and i m 4 months pregnant i send my husband's application on 15 of september 2009 which they recieve on 25 sep then online it shows they accepted my application on 16 of oct 2009 and send my application to visa office in delhi they started working o it on nov 5 till now my application shows in PROCESS is anyone there close to my timeline and share my question answer about is usually how lng it supose to take and if anyone got any visa or request from newdelhi cic office its alomost 3 months now

sasha, as desi_gal mentioned, there are a few here whose files started processing in November at New Delhi and still waiting. I expect we all would hear something in about a months time or sooner (based on others timelines).
Delhi started processing my wife's application on Nov 5th.

kaps we are trying to concentrate on that but you know its very hard but i send him all the possible questions and he is taking look on those questions and i donot what happen to vansk80 and jdod they are missing i mean they didn't update from quite awhile
I think vnks's wife got the visa & jdod's wife got the PPR. Good for their married life.
Sasha by the way did CHC ND asked you to be on phone with your husband for interview?
My Status is still In Process without any info. so only i am left to hear something good from CHC.

Hi Sasha, jdod, kaps, deisgal. Here's my update. My wife received her PP back with visa yesterday. I was gonna post an update for you guys but was a little shaken by sasha's post about the baby and stayed quiet.
Sasha, I pray that everything works out for you soon. Kaps and desigal, some cases take a little longer than usual and that would be because of longer time taken for background check. kaps, have you travelled, or stayed outside India. If so, that would be the reason for some delay. I highly doubt you guys would get called for on interview. If they wanted to interview, you should have heard by now. I would strongly suggest you to email CIC. I emailed once and that didn`t seem to delay the processing of my file.
jdod, you should see an update on ecas in 2-3 weeks.
My best wishes to you guys and I`ll still stop by once in a while as I`m very interested in your cases and will be eagerly waiting to see you guys post the good news soon.

I got 6 Miss Calls from CHC New Delhi on 18 feb thrusday between 3-5pm IST. someone from chc wanted to talk to me but I was not near the phone so I missed those calls. I called back to check but I was told by recepionist that this is the Board no. of chc and she don't know who was calling me.
Today 19 feb Friday i kept waiting for the call from CHC but noone called me today. I am confused... why were they calling me. I didn't receive any emails / letter nor did my wife and ECAS still shows- In Process. Anyone any idea what could be the reason of those 6 attempts from chc new delhi to talk to me ???
