Re: Application sent in July?

Meena

I am from karachi and has sent apllication in july fedex report that application recvd and to to recieve AOR.

Hi Meena,

I am yet to apply with NS. Hope to send my application sometime this week :)

I may need some help from you because I also have to apply under NOC-4131. I will write you a private message.

Cheers!!

I applied under NOC-0213.

Its almost one month but no replies. Worried......................

oops....sorry I thought you applied under 4131. Sorry about that.

These days people are getting AOR from CIO - NS in about 6 weeks so you still got 2 weeks to go. Don't worry you will get your AOR in two weeks time.......did you track your application was reached to them successfully?

It reached there on 2nd July.

Those who had applied in May and onward are requested to please stay calm. No nee to worry, as previously response from CIU, Sydney, CA was within a month (remember this was begining of new policy with new setup, everyone was free to clear queues). Now, due to extensive load from all over the world CIU 's TAT has prolonged from 30 days to 45-50 days (exceptions are always there). So, please waiting until you have 45-50 days over and forward an email following up your case inquiring.
I anticipate positive responses for all you guys.

Yes I am praying for the same.

Actually as I was not having my son's passport. I have mentiond there 'Need to Apply' and also where it was not letting to type I have left those fields blank instead of writing there with black pen. These few points are really making me worried more.

I am looking forward to know if applicants who appllued under this time line have started receiving email or replies.

I am crossing my fingers.

Meena,

You are required to fill in every box whether it has any relevance or not. I have seen it somewhere on the official site cic.com.ca in the instructions to fill forms that if someone unfortunately leaves some columns blank (does not write anything like N/A, none or even a dash), the application may be returned to the applicant for re-submission. I sincerely pray that they do not apply this in your case.

Normal wait time after receipt of initial application to Nova Scotia, Sydney, Canada is about 4-6 weeks, and generally it is observed on this forum that they are taking 6 weeks due to load of applications from world over.

Check that your BD has been en-cashed, it could indicate that they have viewed your application. Hope for the best.

Wishing you success,

Manj

Sometimes it takes longer than the average which is 48 days (recently), have a look at the following link she has got a response after two months and 23 days, her application was sent on april 7 and she got the letter by email on june 30 :

In regard to having your money order been cashed it almost takes these days 25 days after they recieve your application.

Mine was recieved by the CIO on june 8 and my money order was cashed on july 3 (25 days), and of course still waiting.
