Application returned due to incomplete file

Hi everyone,

I applied for PR under the OINP Employer Job Offer – International Student Stream after getting my nomination last year. IRCC recently returned my file because I missed uploading the Confirmation of Nomination Certificate.

OINP is now reviewing my request to re-issue my nomination so I can re-submit my PR file.
Does anyone know -when I re-apply, does IRCC restart the process from scratch, or can they continue from my old timeline?

Hi, Did you resubmit and get any reply yet? I am in similar situation as they returned my application after 11 months stating in email Additional Family Info form is incomplete, but when I go to the portal they have marked each of the form as incomplete. I am confused and will call IRCC but if anyone can confirm if its a glitch or an error. They also mentioned that OINP nomination certificate has expired so they need the extension again, when I submitted my application the expiry was 45 days away, I will reach out to OINP, but I would request any help or info will be greatly appreciated.

Yes I submitted today after 2.5 months. When they return the application due to an incompleteness check here’s what you need to do-
1. Contact OINP for a nomination extension with a letter of explanation. Raise a webform and attach all docs there. It take about 2-3 months for them to get back to you with a new certificate. You will need to call them every 2 weeks to check where your application has reached or else it will take longer.
2. After you receive your nomination certificate, make a new application and submit all required documents again. This will be treated as a new application. Your previous application shows incomplete because it is no longer valid.
