Hi All,

I have applied for Canadian Immigration under Federal Skilled worker category, about 4 months ago, and my application got rejected saying that not filled correctly, said and they asked to resend the after correction,

mistake was with the NOC code i haven't put the four numbers of the NOC code for a particular experience, such as i wrote as 213 instead of 0213, and my application got rejected, and now i have reapplied with the correction as 0213 (four numbers),

here is the question arises !

what could be the reason behind that (213 or 0213)?

any views? or anyone got addressed this type of message from the immigration office?

Thanks to all !

the whole decision hangs on those four little numbers. that's why.

i guess this may sound very bureaucratic. but if they accept it and later on if u say ur NOC code is 1213 or 2213?

The reason is plain and simple... your NOC Code is 0213... not 213... All NOC codes are four digit numbers. You wrote only three... you made a mistake. If that was the only reason just correct the error and send it back.

Regards.

Afzal,

As mentioned in the above posts.......the CODE NO- IS 0213 not 213. In mathematics ZERO does not have a value 0213 = 213, but here it makes a lot difference coz the NOC codes are 4 digit numbers.
I read in this forum somewhere regarding a similar case......where the application was returned due to 3 digits - 213 code
So i guess this is being strictly enforced..!

It might seem funny why CIO guys can not assume 213 as 0213 but we can not blame them coz as rightly mentioned above - Its all in those 4digits.!!
