Hi,

My application for CEC was returned because I did not fill "TO" date in the schedule 8. I have completed more than one year in NOC code 1122. I am still working as Management consultant in same firm. Since I was employed in same firm, I left "TO" as blank.

Now when I reapply, do I have to get new PCC, new CELPIP report? (They openened my CELPIP report) Please help.

Thanks
BR

Sorry to hear that BR... Why didn't you just write any date after completing one year?

When did you send your file and when was it received by CIC?

CELPIP is valid for 2 years from the date of exam. If it is still valid, you can use the same original report.

PCC should not be issued more than 3 months before the date you submit to CIC. For example: If the PCC was issued on December 1st 2013, your PCC must reach CIC before March 1st 2014.

Also, put the TO date as the date on which you sign the application. Do not write Present.

I just missed writing TO date in the form. For this silly reason, they returned my form. It was recvd on Nov 22

Thanks for responding. My PCC was rcvd on Sep 22. Do I need to reapply for PCC?

I would also suggest to double check the cover letter from cic to ensure this is the only reason, as it appears strange to return your package due to this? Lots of ppl suggest to leave blank if you are still employed by the sane employer? But for safe side, better off to write a date, usually the same date when you sign the form, which is what I did.

Yes that is the reason they cited. I am so shocked with this, have to reapply for PCC, reorder PCC and reapply. Got dealyed by 5-6 months due to this reason. Sounds so damn stupid to me

Well it sucks, sorry to hear that, it happened to me as well, I used personal cheque instead of bank draft and got returned in 2 weeks and re filed. But you don't have to wait for the ppc, you can submit later to be more efficient. What is your noc?

In my application I put the date my work permit expires. This was suggested by a KPMG lawyer. So this should be good too.

My application was accepted, and I left the "To" date blank for my current job.

What other date would you even put there?

OK..
Did you fill all jobs that you worked in Canada for past three years or only qualifying?

In my case, every job was a qualifying job.
