Application returned and Resubmitted back.

Hi,

we 1st send our application in August 2019, it was returned back on october 2019 for not answering a question as it was deemed incomplete..
We resubmitted again on October 2019 and again it was returned in February 2020 stating Language eveidence not provided, though i tick yes for the question if they have my IELTS in their system they can verify from there, seems they dint find it in their system.
We again resubmitted it in Februrary 2020.
My question is what would be our timeline, our documents were stamped by them as received on august 2019, so our processing time would be from August 2019 or February 2020?

Hello, the CIC office is not responsible for private exams such as IELTS or CELPIP and as a result they would not be able to find the certificate. What they are referring to is the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) exam that they fund and offer free to certain groups of immigrants. If you attained a certificate in this program with the required CLB for citizenship, answering yes will allow CIC to retrieve your records. You would need to respond no and provide a copy of the IELTS General exam that you took to prove your English Language ability. Hope this helps.
