Hi guyz
We received a rejection today stating that we didnt include a PC from the UK.

We never lived in the UK, but my husband received a diploma from a UK-based institution (Chartered Institute of Marketing).
He studied and took the exams in the UAE, where we reside. (UAE's PC was included)

Apparently the case officer understood that he studied in the UK & thus rejected the application.

What should we do now? and if we re-apply, how do we refer to this certification... from the UK or from UAE????

It's also imp to note that even the ECA came out describing this certification from the UK.

TIA!

Did he attend a school in UAE or was it done online?
If he attended a school in UAE, open an CSE and get his professor to reference it perhaps show attendance.

It's a UK institute show it will seem that way, but it should have the location on your transcripts where he took the exam, no?

This has happened to other people, and they have been able to get their cases reopened. Just write a CSE explaining that the course was a distance course, and that you never lived in the UK. If you have any evidence of this, include it. People have had their applications get back on track for exactly this sort of thing, so you are in a good position.
