Oh, but it IS normal. CIC makes mistakes all the time. :)

our mistakes aside (or anybody's for that matter)

seems insane that gov would make people re-do applications rather than submit missing docs (although I know they notified us about that).

would be less work for them too!!

That person did a medical in 2012. It seems that CIC simply accepted that medical for the PR app.

technically CIC sees the requests as ignored, regardless of whether you received them or not, and that's a known reason for rejection. it's now 7 months since the december request, so it makes sense they wouldn't leave it open forever.

as suggested above, CIC is known to open closed applications when something like this happens, so it's in your best interest to get your MP involved and apply some pressure to do so.

That person stated that s/he never did a medical or `fingers' (meaning PCC, I assume). I guess s/he forgot? LOL!

Where did you see that the medical had been conducted in 2012? Did you have to dig through a pile of other posts from that member?

Took about 2 minutes to find it in the person's previous posts.

That's 2 minutes of your life that you'll never get back. ;)

Don't you just hate it when people say something that simply isn't true, like this person did?
