I'm the principal applicant and my application has been rejected today due to incomplete declaration on my partners Schedule A. He declared his 2 kids from his divorced wife in our home country. Those kids were unaccompanying . What documents are needed to re open my file or should we apply for a fresh EE? Those were not my kids do they need a medical, passport etc or their birth certificate will suffice?
Please help.

If the kids are 18 years old or under - they need a medical - even if they are non-accompanying. I don't think you can reopen the file. I believe you have to re-enter the pool and wait for a new ITA to reapply.

I agree.

Unfortunately, it sounds like it was an oversight on your part, thinking that because they were not accompanying you or your spouse, you wouldnt need to provide a medical.

From what I have seen on here, it is rare that IRCC reopens a file when it is the applicants fault.

What was your CRS score when you received ITA?

If it was high enough to be chosen again in the near future, the easiest thing would be just to create a new profile, get all the missing documents together and try again.
