Hi,
My spouse and I are currently applying for Canadian PR.We lived in the US for 3 years and so the visa office had asked for the police clearance. After 3 tries my spouse's clearance is through and has been submitted.Unfortunately,my fingerprints were illegible and I have submitted it for the third time. The Visa Office has already issued a strict deadline of 1 month, which is insufficient. If I'm not able to provide the clearance, what would happen to my application? Will there be a chance of refusal?
Please Help!!!!

Regards,
Monica.

Write a letter to Visa Office explaining the steps taken by you and reason for delay. Tell them that delay is neither intentional nor wilful but is due to the reason which is not in your hand. Tell them you have no control or saying on the working of FBI. Tell them you have done everything which a prudent person would have done. Request them to wait for decision on the application till the time of submission of PCC for which you had reapplied. Send copy of payment for PCC and the previous outcome of applications of Police clearance.
