Application is updated (email) but no change in my account

Hi all,

I just received an email from CIC that my application is updated and I must log into my account to check. But once I log-in, I can't see any change/updates.

My current status: FSW-O, AOR 11th August, medical passed, background check in progress (Ip1?) and they requested additional police certificates (already read the letter and requested the documents).

Anything I should be concerned about?

Nothing to be concerned about. Most likely someone is working on your file. In many instances you get an email which says your application is updated or even when you login it says updated but you cannot see any change. Such times you might see a status change after 24 hrs.
But this is not always. It could just be a ghost email or update. Not withstanding that someone is working on your file.

I have searched the forum for older threads, found someone who had a reply from CIC basically saying there 2 kind of updates messages:

- Your application is updated (no message for the applicant, most probably a ghost mail)
- You have received a new message (most probably action required by the applicant)

Just leaving this here, could help someone else.
