Application got Refused due to lack of Document

Hi ! Sadly we got news that our application was refused due to not providing a FBI Clearance. We have requested for a FBI clearance and is still waiting.I've made an appeal and was wondering if we can provide the FBI clearance can i get my application to move forward ? It'll be great to get an asnwer, thank you so much !

i may be wrong but an appeal would take longer than just restarting the application. was there any reason why you did not ask for extra time to submit FBI clearance?

Did you actually appeal or did you request that the app be re-opened? If it is the former, withdraw the appeal, as it has no chance. If it is the latter, given that the mistake is yours, IRCC may or may not re-open the app. No one on here can say.

I sent a notice of appeal, but if I withdraw can I redo the sponsorship? I didn't know I could ask for an extension.. That's our fault

You can send copy of request or proof you order the FBI certificate and please them to give you time and re open they might open it when see you do efforts to get it and they know it takes long , send to visa office with explaining all they will understand if in land send CSE to Mississauga or go meet the MP as soon as possible to let them know and I’m 90 percent sure they will help

Not worry they will fix if not the MP sure will make them reopen it as when you reach backgroundcheck mean you almost done .

I only have the fedex receipt and a copy of what we sent, is that okay? But should I continue with the appeal?

Yes is enough send them all proof and explain well they will contact FBI anyway and will know you say the truth keep the appeal working too as any judge will decide fast to reopen as is not fair reason to close just in case but I’m sure you will not need the appeal , appeal is keeping your right and show your serious , new application mean you accept the refusal and need to pay fees again so why that .

Look for phone number to call or send e-mail to office as urgent even put urgent in mails to VO they have policy to reconsider refusal if there are real reasons to not refuse they have to open

By the way they just write as incomplete or abandoned they can not close it right away in system even if closed they can create new file in GCMs for you they just refuse to get rid of Processing backlog is sad how they deal sometimes but just tell them you not know that you need to inform about extensions
The MP responsible for your province or area is the one to contact

Withdraw the appeal. It will drag on for many months and be dismissed, as you were correctly refused under the law.

So we can re-open the application?

You can request that it be re-opened. No guarantees.

Zero point in keeping the appeal going. It doesn't show that they are serious, whatever that means.
