Application from Qatar, still processing?

Anyone applied from Qatar and still waiting? I applied on 28th April on paper through VFS, same day Biometrics and submitted Upfront Medical and Passport. Every week since then it has shown 5 weeks processing on CIC for Qatar residents. Today marks 5 weeks, anyone else who has applied from Qatar how long did you have to wait from application submission to getting a decision from CIC?

Linked my application day I submitted and also received a ghost email on 18th May, Your Application(xxxx) has been updated, however no change on the account.

Applied on April 20, 2016 in Qatardone only biometrics, nothing changed till then still waiting for medicals.

Applied at VFS for a study permit on April 3rd. No medicals, just the biometrics. No reply since, just says its processing at CIC Abu Dhabi. Not even a medical request. Just update us if you get any feedback

Discuss here for processing in Abu Dhabi. The current processing time for the Abu Dhabi visa office is at least 12 weeks.

I applied from Qatar and got refused. Working here for 5 years, showed properties in India and also employment letter as well.
Below are the reasons for rejection:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.

Yes I did get a correspondence letter for biometrics and next day I got visa refusal letter.

So basically on 30th you got the BVL And on 1st you got rejection? Right?
