Myself Shivam Patel, I have recently filled an application for permanent residency after receiving my csq. I am currently on work visa which is valid till 2019 , march.

I did my application for permanent residency in January, 2017 after receiving my csq in October 2016.

Current status of my permanent residency application: received medical test on 11 th july 2017 (2 days ago). I am hoping to get my pr by end of January 2018.

I am not married yet but i am planning to get marry , so should i wait until my pr process is done or should i go back to india to get marry with her soon and add her to my ongoing application (i am aware that if i add her to my ongoing application then i need to submit my old csq and need to apply csq for both of us together.)

I am meeting the point requirements for csq with the spouse as per the new rule but still there is risk of getting csq for both of us . it might get delayed,it might take longer time than expected or rules might get changed.

Another option is i can wait until my pr process is done and then get marry with her. so after my marriage i can sponsor her. i also know that sponsorship will take one year.

My only concern is to get marry but without risking my own pr. I can wait for marriage.

So what will be the best option to get marry soon without jeopardize my own pr application.

I am really thankful to everyone for your advise on above questions.

Looking forward for your response.

This is the best option bro. Because if you are applying for the CSQ for your spouse, it might delay the entire processing of your application as well.
