Hi everyone, i have done all the paperwork that is required for " Permenant Residence Within Canada" for my wife.! all ready to go to ship off!

just one minor speed bump.. which payments do i choose at the payment page? there is so many to choose from!!!

Sponsorship Application ( per application )
$75.00
Prinicipal Application
$475.00
A family member of the principal Application who is 22 years of age or older, or is less than 22 years of age and is a spouse or common law partner
$550.00
A family member of the principal application who is less than 22 years of age and is not a spouse or common law partner
$150.00

This might be straight forward for most of you, but i just want to make sure im paying for the right thing. My lawyer ( who is unavailable atm ) said that i would be paying around 700$ alltogether. but the prices are below 700$ unless i need to pick more than 1 thing to pay.

please help me, ASAP! with love. Thomas

Sponsor fee $75.00
Principal applicant $475.00
Right of Permanent Residence Fee - $490.00

Trust me, you want to pay that third one upfront, not doing so could add at least 2 months to your processing time.

You usually can do this at a bank as well, but will need a form from CIC to do it to include with your application. One part is stamped by the bank and another part you keep and another you send along with the applicaton - also stamped by the bank. You need to request this form be mailed to you so that will take time to receive.

Just curious that your lawyer - it was a lawyer? or was it a consultant? that was unable to tell you the fees you needed to pay in your case. Not meant as a criticism, but there was a reason you hired this individual and are likely paying that person a fee - perhaps you are in a position to request a refund from them if they are unable to advise you on this sort of thing which is pretty basic stuff!
