Application Fee Payment - Using Friend's CC

Hi,

I have to pay the application fee which is around CAD 2,500 and my own credit card doesn't have that much limit. Can I use someone else's card for this purpose? It would be either a friend's or brother in law's. If yes, is there any sort of special instructions to be followed?

Yes. You can very well use others' credit card. No special instructions required.

Just be careful when doing this. If you are on FSW, CIC may see this as a loan to be repaid to your friend/family member and may deduct this amount from the funds you say you have. Just my thoughts only. Wait for others to reply as well.
