Application fee for OOPNP

Hi Everyone,

As I am going to send the application by next week, I need your help to understand how bank draft thing works.
I do have an account in ICICI bank. For OOPNP, I need to send a bank draft to Ontario on the name of Ontario Minister of Finance.
The amount should be in CAD. Do I need any other information that I need to tell to the bank?
Should the bank draft be payable to any bank in Canada or only the ICICI bank's Canadian branch in Canada?

Please guide me fellow forumiums.

Hi,
You need to take a DD on the name of Ontario Minister of Finance with 1500 CAD.
Tell the bank executive that you need a DD in CAD currency for 1500 CAD. He would ask you for form 15 CA, CB. You need to get them from any chartered accountant and give it to the bank. This is the new guideline from RBI.
Once you submit the forms, the bank will provide you a DD of 1500 CAD.

You need not mention the payable option. The bank has tie ups with other banks in Canada and they would provide that bank details on the DD.

You would need to fill a Form for foreign currency Bank Draft. You will need to tell them that this is a fee for an application for immigration.
The bank will know which bank in Ontario/Canada it will be payable to.

P.S. You may need to get the 15 CA CB Forms filled through a Charted Accountant.
