Application Denied due to insufficient points

Hi Guys,

My Skilled worker application has just been denied because CIC did not recognize my 3 years of work experience. Rather they used 2 yrs in calculating my point. Hence I could not meet the pass mark.

However, I wish to re-take IELTS exam in order to get more marks (Only 1 additional pt needed)

My question is this, will CIC return my full package and make refund of my fees. They have already charged my Credit Card.

If so, how soon will they return the package.

I really need the application docs for the re=application as soon as possible

I think they will neither. Once they start the process of checking the points needed for the pass-mark, the fee is not refundable and te papers are not returned.

Page 15 of EG7 states:

"If your total score is less than the passmark ...
Note: If you are refused at this stage, the processing fees will not be refunded."

Page 53 states that the package will be returned only until the eligibility review has started (i.e. when the application is incomplete).
