Hello All,
My spouse application came back because I forgot to sign at one place. Wondering if this will take another one month when I send back again?

Once you re-submit your application, CIC will treat it as a brand new application. So yes - Step 1 (Assessment of Sponsor) will take a month to complete once again.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, I know the feeling!

Hope it will not take a whole month!

Just keep praying and be positive

Just be sure to re-check all documents because I know a couple who, although did not have their complete application returned to them, were told they were missing a document - and this happened twice to them! They are practically starting over (4 months wasted).

Do you guys mind to share which signature spot did you missed ?
just want to double check i have everything since i am ready to submit my application

thanks

Missied signature on IMM5406E

I missed the signature in the middle of the IMM5406E form (additional family info). It was nasty, because you can easily miss it!!

Good luck to all

I really don't know how you can forget and miss a signature on your own application?

Didn't you check it several times before sending it?

Forget signature

Yes we forget signatures, because we are humans!

Because of the subject line on this thread, "The cat came back" is now playing in my head.

That specific signature is one of the top reasons for applications being rejected. It's a very common thing. I almost missed the same one and had to mail it to my wife to sign before i submitted.

Hi ism45,

Which section of IMM5406E did you miss? only Section D is must to sign. You have to sign in Note 1 and Note 2 in section A and B are only if you don't have any spouse and children respectively
