Application Arrived at the CIC the same day my FBI check expired

My FBI check expired on September 5th, 2012 which is the same day my application reached Mississauga. Do you think that they're going to ask for a new background check? If so, do you know a FAST way I could do it in Montreal? I plan on staying here until the Immigration process is done.

If by "expired" you mean that Sep 5 was 3 months since the FBI report was issued, then you should be fine. Police certificates are valid for ONE YEAR, provided that CPC-M receives your application before 3 months since the report was issued. Being on the very cusp, you probably will not be required to do a new one right away.
