Hi Guys,

I'm really worried now. It has been over 2 months since my application has been received in Sydney (according to postal tracking) and still no AOR, no Credit Card draft, no eACS notes and no reply from Sydney Office to my inquire I sent 2 weeks ago. What should I do. Should I sent a new application?

Please help!

Are you sure your application has been received at the CIO?? Did you track the package?
If so, try logging on to the ECAS system. Try different variations of first names and last names.
If you should get on and see the status of your application as "Application Received", then the AOR
has already been issued and maybe has been lost in your spam folder or something.
Maybe you misspelled your email address?

Do you, by saying "No credit card draft", mean that your credit card has not been charged?? That indeed would be weird,
that would mean that your application has been returned to you before charging the application fee to your card.

Unfortunately there is no other ways to track your application if you did not receive your AOR. I would suggest you not to lose hope and wait for a few more days.
You should definitely get a response from CIC for your current application.

FedEx tracking system shows that my package has been received at 47 Dorchester Street, Sydney, NS, B1P 5Z2. I can login on eacs, but it just shows status (decision made) of my previous application which was refused few months ago but no info on new application. And yes, credit card was not charged. Now I'm afraid that they have sent my application back, but Canada Post has lost it. But I can't know it for sure since Sidney Office did not replied to my email yet. No idea what to do... :(

Email them again and try to be as clear as possible stating your situation. Include all necessary information about your application ( ie UCI, name, dob, etc ).
If they don't reply, try calling the CIC hotline and ask for assistance. They can check if an application has been entered into the system using your UCI.

Thanks. Will try to call CIC. But can they help me if my file has not yet been transferred from Sydney to Ottawa?

They can check their system for your UCI number and see if there's an active application or not.

Was speaking to CIC info center now. They don't see any new application for my UCI, but they also don't have access to Sydney Intake Office data. In addition I was told that it may take from 2 to 4 months to process my application (by Intake Office) and if I still want to make an inquire I need to send an email to Sydney (which I already did). So... guess I'll need to wait... again...
Thanks for the help anyway.

Might as well send another email to the sydney office :) Hope it'll work out for you.

Just to keep you informed - I still did not get any reply for my inquire from Sydney, instead I got my AOR... just after 2 months & 2 weeks - when I already lost all my hopes... No idea why it took so long.

Sydney has had some horrible weather recently. It wouldn't surprise me if Canada Post service to/from Sydney was affected.
