You are good with this but showing extra money is always helpful. If you have savings,FDs then you can show that.

Just curious, could having a sibling living in Canada on a dependent visa be detrimental for the applicant?

No,i cant be the only factor. When they process your file the process it as a whole.Having a sibling in Canada doesnt mean that you cant get visa.To be on safer side choose different provience.

As your brother is also a student there in Canada so it shouldn't be call as FAMILY TIES because he is not a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.

I didn't mean to confuse anyone.
There are cases where CIC issued VISAs even having strong family ties in Canada.

In fact, one of my friend got VISA for this Winter 2014 intake.
His brother lives there in Canada and works for some university and he even applied in the same university and got the visa.

So no need to be worry at all. Just prepare the right and strong documents, explain the things in your Statement of Explanation and apply.
All the best.

My brother holds a PR at Toronto, and I have applied SP for Toronto, GBC
Is this risky?

My parents and Husband are not accompanying

Hi meagan,
I am applying for masters under university category.
My course fees is $25000k, and I am done with my GIC and first sem fees.
My both parents are working and their total annual income (both) is Rs16-17Lakhs
Now I have mentioned it in my visa application form, but no proofs regarding the same are being asked.
My consultant told that there is no need for unnecessary docs like ITR and salary slips.

Just mentioning parents annual income in Visa application form is enuf ????? :o

I have applied for loan as well (Rs 12L, just to make my file stronger), but my consultant says loan letter is not reqd at all.
Please sugggest !! :(
