Got it. That is odd. On the CIC website, It says to apply 4-6 months in advance if possible. Maybe your country has a larger embassy staff so they can get through all the applications within 3 months of submission.

I guess if you want to apply even earlier, there is always the online route.

Accepted in MEngg. in Electrical at Concordia University for Fall 2014.

Got the CAQ; visa docs, fee payment, meds will be done by 15 April.
Thinking of applying for visa around 20 April.

Any idea about the visa success rate for University Category applicants?

How can we show the property valiation papers?
We have a plot worth 30,000 CAD registered on my mothers name.Can i show that? if yes then how?

Your property valuation will be done by the concerned authorities (PUDA in Punjab I think) who'll visit your house and valuate.
 
I think we need not to provide property valuation under university category.
Pls correct me if I am wrong.

Yes we dont need it.But it can prove home ties and financial strength.
How much amout you people will show in Bank statements?

If we have paid 1 year fees plus GIC for living expenses.
Then do we need to show bank balance or FD's.
If yes then how much amount.

I am showing GIC for first year living expenses. Bank statement of 6 lacs for 2nd year living expenses.
Tuition fee receipt for 1st semester with loan sanction letter for the remainder of studying period.
Also, will attach the property valuation letter which I had submitted to the bank for Study loan approval.

I think this should be enough.
 
I have applied for MaCS program(Fall 2014) in Dalhousie and Concordia university.
I am confused among these two universities. Can anyone please advise me.
