Why don't you write the same letter again SIGN it and send it, it doesn't cost you anything and it may save you a lot of time while your file is still in Sidney. Add a cover letter, explain that you forgot to sign it and mention the date you submitted your application so as they can track it

I kind of attached written notes on various supporting docs of my application - e.g. CBSA report - didn't sign anything other than the application and the residence calculator.

I have ordered for CBSA report. I'm going to send the CBSA report along a cover letter, though I think applicants are not supposed to send additional documents unless they are asked to do so.

Well, that was my question! Are we supposed to sign every single page (or note) we attach to the application?? To me, it simply doesn't make any sense. The guide only says "...clearly explain...", and nothing about signing.

I applied in last week of march application is received in Sydney .. waiting for acknowledgment any idea now long does it normally take to get acknowledgment

Updates on mine!!! I just got on ECAS to check the status and I saw this:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 31, 2014.

2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 31, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3. We started processing your application on May 14, 2014.

Today, May 20, I found my AOR in the mailbox. Application sent on March 12, ecas updated around May 8. Here is what I see on my ecas:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 17, 2014.

2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 17, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3. We started processing your application on April 29, 2014.
