Hey Aran!
How long did it take for u to get PR from the day VO got your PCC's?

I submitted my PCC along with the 2nd stage docs in 2010 October. (PCC were dated 2010 July) after that VO never asked me for updated PCC for the same countries I have lived. But 2 months back they have asked PCC from the current country I am residing which I never submitted before.

But as i remember your last PCC was asked after your Meds. Why I am asking as they requested my processing fees on the same day they sent us medicals. So far it is almost 35 days since we done medicals, no news about medical results and last DD was not cashed. So I was wondering how long will it take to get passport request.

Hi,

anyone applied MI 3(after July 2011) from Colombo.

Guys,It is very frustrating now.Colombo is taking the max.average time to PPR compared to other VOS.Why is that ? according to others they need to do SEC/Crime tests after medicals.Do you Know how they do it?.Are they do it with ploice DPT?There are the most ineffeciant authority encountered during my application point.If they think someting is wrong why dont they contact us.

Right now i'm speechless and do not know what to do next

Its tough. You have invested time & money on this. But don't worry much there will be another option
in which cat you applied? if you eligible can't you apply fresh?

yes it is a pretty harsh outcome ,the fact that it is not my fault , Colombo VO was dragging and they were very slack , on my part i have submitted more than what they have asked for !
By the way Aran i applied under IT MGR cat .
