just now i heard that there is a postal strike, anybody else aware? some 200,000 odd letters are stuck it seems.

experts do you think we should go and inquire from the high commission???? ???

Will they allow us to enter? i have noticed, for old cases they phone i have e mail 3 weeks back but no response so far

Even after meds they take soooo long to finalaize the application.. its been over 7 months since my meds were done.. no response yet.. so frustrating..

Why dont you order CAIPS/GCSM it wii cost $ 5 as you are in Canada

Hay go to chc colombo and enquire urself if it is possible. Thats better than sending emails and waiting.
So many go there and making enquiries even without any engish knowledge.

Thanks for that response! I cannot visit CHC CMB as I am currently working in Canada. I have sent few inquiries but they never responded for any of those.. Are they really allow people to walk in for file inquiries?

I didn't know about this I was in Sri Lanka for the month of Feb on my vacation and returned to Canada. If at all I had a clue about this I could have gone and inquired personally..
