@ RAWLIN
i think its better to move canada and then find which advance course is better for u....
as per my knowledge india and canada are working on diff platforms in each and every field....
so may b wat u do here in autocad is totally different their in use...
so my suggestion is to move there and then decide wat they need in automobile industry..... and do the same required study...

@rawlinbro I second that opinion.............almost the same thing my bro told me when I asked your query to him :)

Dear Rawlin,

Mechanics are one of the most earning people in Canada. wat my study concludes so far... if u r a gud mechanic nothing to worry. u 'll earn more than wat u think nw ...

I don't think anybody will hire him as mechanic in Canada without Red seal or journeyman ticket... so Drafting is best to start and get a job to sit on Chair... and also to start with $50k Annually...

Hi Sonit

AutoCad is a Software (Design Software)... It's same in all over world.. and you are right in not upgrading education as he doesn't need to upgrade his education.. ... and if you check online "Drafting" jobs in Alberta you will find almost every company is hiring minimum 5 Drafter's who have knowledge of Autocad because mostly all big companies in Alberta have vista project for next 10 years, which is drowning pipe lines from Alberta to BC...

Thanks

Syrus

thanks SONIT.. but I strongly believe that all std. softwares have same uses... like microsoft; adobe; autocad etc...

As couple of other forum members advised just opposite to that; but anyway; I really appreciate your advice man..Thanks again..

Thanks Syrus;

I also check that as Engineers & mechanics come in that RED SEAL category & to get that certificate I need to wait atleast one year & need to work under some RED SEAL person..

Hello Guys

need to get a suggestion about the benefits of AUTO CAD in my field.

I have done diploma in Automobiles Engg. of 3 years and having exp. in YAMAHA, Hyundai Service Station & private workshop of 7 years.

I was just thinking to do a CADD course from India. It takes 45 days to complete that course..

1. Do you guys think that it is wise decision to do that.??

2. Is there any benefit in Canada after adding CADD qualification..

Please update...

Regards
Rawlin

Ya its a Perfect decision.Auto cad is very demanding in Canada.Learn auto cad and give online exam(the institute where you are suppose to do autocad ask them to help usually they help to clear the exam otherwise it is tough to clear the exam in such short span) get the international certificate so it will very beneficial to you. If you are not in hurry to land in Canada do PRO ENGINEERING FOUNDATION and if want to go CNC side then PRO ENGG Advance also.If any query feel free to call

Congratulation to Dear SPARTAN

I want to share my one friend's experience who is landed in Calgary. He landed there on 12 sept and got very nice job as a machine operator on 29 sept (Salary 20$/hour).He daily hovering the industrial area with his resume, as per him there is no security checks hassle and restriction like in India, you can easily meet the responsible person they are very friendly. He is BE Mechanical but he shown diploma mechanical to get the job easily in lower category(Even his single certificate has not checked). Before getting this job his job is almost fixed in ware house (labor job 13$/hour) but luckily he got call from this co and joined there..It seems that there is no crises of jobs for technical people.

thanks GOTI

I will call you tomorrow ... message me the best time to call you man.
